Sunday Service

This powerful message challenges us to examine the condition of our hearts and minds in our relationship with God. Drawing from Matthew 6:21, we're reminded that where our treasure is, there our hearts will be also. The sermon unpacks the profound truth that God doesn't look at our Sunday morning appearance or church attendance—He looks at the fruit of our lives and the authenticity of our worship. Through Jesus' conversation with the Samaritan woman in John 4, we discover that true worship must engage our spirit in the pursuit of truth. It's not about the location or the emotion we feel, but about who we are and how we live before God. The message confronts our tendency to treat God like a Sunday coat we put on and take off, when He actually desires to be our entire life. We're challenged to move beyond seeking emotional highs at church and instead invest our time, energy, and resources into a genuine, daily relationship with the living God. Romans 12:1-2 calls us to offer our everyday, ordinary lives—our sleeping, eating, working, and walking around—as worship to God. This isn't about waiting until we feel passionate or ready; it's about being intentional right now, allowing God to renew our minds and transform our behavior from the inside out.
